The witching hour is fast approaching

Round about the cauldron go;
In the poisoned entrails throw.
Toad, that under cold stone
Days and nights hast thirty-one
Sweltered venom sleeping got,
Boil thou first i' the charmed pot.
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.

Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog.
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and howlet's wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.

The witching hour is finally here
It's when the witches all appear
and Zombies from their tombs draw near
To celebrate this time of year

At Scrapbook Sisters we will meet
To scrap and laugh and Trick or Treat
In wicked form we do our best
To make this day a memorable fest.

So if you're passing don't be scared
And if you're dressed we're all prepared
To take a photo with us all
And give out candy to the small.

Ok so it's not Shakespeare but not a bad effort. See you all tomorrow

Random but lovely

Firstly if you are a mum of one of the children in the childrens class last Saturday then turn away now. For everyone else, here are the lovely boxes our youngest crafters made (all 10 of them)in readiness for presents.

Lovely work girls.

Next we have a great card for a gardener made by Julie Blakeman.

I hope dads not looking. It would make a good card for him next year.

Lastly but by no means least, is a lovely layout again made by Julie Blakeman (I wonder where she gets the time?). This is a variation using papers from one of our fortnightly classes.

Really like this on and the idea of using the bird as a tag pull is great.

Watch out for Octobers Special Edition Layouts starting tomorrow.

Lets have some Prima inspiration

We currently have a fantastic range of papers from Prima called "Animal Bash". When we saw it we immediately thought of Pam Thorburn one of our very talented Design Team.

Over the next three days we will show you 3 different ideas. Lets start today with

Street Art

This is a fantastic way to use the multi coloured flock brads.

We love the doodled lines on this layout.

More from pam tomorrow.

Scrapbook Sisters Christmas Party

Hi everyone.

Yes it's that time again and we are planning our Christmas party.

The date is Tuesday 8th December from 7.45pm. For those of you who came last year you will remember what a great time we all had. If you haven't been before, don't be shy. It's great fun, a nice meal and some friendly banter and suitable for everyone.

You can see some of last years photos here.

If you would like to come along, pop into the shop for more details. We will need a £10 deposit the same as last year and this needs to be in by 31st October at the very latest.

Look forward to seeing loads of your there.

Paper Canvas

Last time we did the Canvas Class was at an all day crop and there was paint everywhere. With only a 2 hour class I decided to leave most of the paint at home and make paper canvas' instead.

Here are the two I made:

Terry Goes By Train

The Thinker

Here are a few from class and fantastic they are too.

Lovely Papers

For those of you who follow Scrapbook Sisters, you will know that we teach classes every evening either to our regular fortnightly classes or to new and existing students in our special classes. We don't very often post the class layouts but I thought we'd make an exception this time as these papers were so pretty.

Hope you like them:

Egg & Spoon

I think there might be a layout missing so I will add it as soon as I find it:)

More inspiration tomorrow. Nite Nite xx

Our House

This was a lovely little project made by Karen in one of our recent Classes. The papers were ideal for this book and I know everyone had great fun making it.

See you tomorrow.

Graphic 45

Everyone has their favourite papers. Some choose Basic Grey and some Bo Bunny but my personal favourites are from Graphic 45. I don't know what it is about them but I never have any trouble using them and can mix and match the ranges with ease.

You can imagine the heaven I found myself in when three new ranges turned up at the shop and lucky for me, it was just in time for the September Crop. So what did I make the class with? You've guessed it, a mix of Domestic Godess and Renaissance from Graphic 45. Bliss.

I hope you like the project and that you have signed up for the next class being held on 28th November. As a warning, there are only 2 class places left and although I am not using Graphic 45, this project is a cracker (no that is not a clue)and should not be missed.

This book was made about me as I very rarely do anything about myself. I did find it hard and as you can see, I have yet to do the journalling as I want to eventually give this book to my son as a reminder of his old mum:)

You can see one of our own Fashion Set Stamps used on this page. This lady is from Fashion Set Two.

This lady is from Fashion Set One.

Watch out for Karens House Book Tomorrow:)
